Homeowners’ Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program

  • HEMAP is a Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency Program that provides short-term, temporary funding to cure loan delinquencies.
  • Makes mortgage payments to lenders on behalf of qualifying homeowners for up to 24 months.
  • Recipients must meet the eligibility guidelines defined in state law (Act 91) and repayment of the assistance is required
