Katrina Relief for School Children

In light of the devastation that hurricane Katrina has inflicted on our country
and the enormous struggle that our fellow Americans must endure as a result of that devastation, Media Fellowship House has decided to
support a special relief effort, started by the Media Area NAACP, designed to provide some desperately needed school supplies to 5000
children. These young students, who have been relocated to Houston, Texas so that their educations may continue, have not only lost their
homes and schools but have been arriving at Houston without the materials they need to help them learn.
As a result, Media Fellowship House urges its friends and members to take part in this truly worthwhile initiative by
dropping off “student support packs” that contain school supplies to the designated drop off locations throughout
the county.
Anyone who would like to participate can click on the "Instructions" link above for all of the
information or they may call Jerry at 610-565-0434 for more details.
In the spirit of fellowship, Media Fellowship House is pleased to be working with the Media NAACP to ensure that these
young children experience some relief during such a life altering time.
